Middle School Play Auditions
The MS Drama Department is excited to announce that this year’s performance will be The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. We will be looking for a cast of about 50 students in grades 6 to 8. Auditions begin the week of November 7th. Most rehearsals will take place mid-January to mid-March.
The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, the most popular book in the Narnia series by CS Lewis, has approximately 11 lead characters and another dozen speaking roles, with the rest of the ensemble playing various animals and mythical beasts. New this year, we are hoping to involve students in the design process of costumes, masks and hopefully even puppets. With this in mind, we’ll be looking for actors, singers, lead dancers, artists and people who like to make things! Crafty parents and DIY fanatics are also welcome to join this project by emailing lfulcher@sas.edu.sg.
Acting Auditions will take place in the Drama Theater
Boy's Auditions: Monday, November 7 at 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Girl's Auditions: Tuesday, November 8 at 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Movement Workshop with Guest Artist Ian Johnstone: Friday, November 11 at 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
